Vetran Actor Baba Wande Denied to Pray Jumat in Mosque

As the new regulations made by the government of Osun state regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, The Nigerian vetran actor Alhaji Kareem Adepoju popularly called Baba Wande a Nigerian film actor, writer and producer who shot to limelight in 1993 after he starred as “Oloye Otun” in the movie titled Ti Oluwa Ni Ile was denied to pray in a mosque in Osun state due to his age.

The 82 year old actor was  not allowed to enter a mosque somewhere in Osun state to perform the jumat service last week friday 5th June 2020 due to the new regulation made by the Governor of the state who stated that persons above the age of 60 should not be allowed to entert worship places.

Baba wande was forced to stay outside somewhere around the mosque to make his obligatory prayer “Jumat” despite his good health, social status and age. Unless the new regulations are being reviewed, people of age 60 and above the likes of vetran actor Baba Wande will not be allowed to enter the mosque to perform obligatory prayers.
